These paintings are from a series I created entitled “Bodies of Light.”  I was trying to create a visual narrative akin to the Zen Oxherding series.  Inspired by the process-oriented approach of Zen painting, it was my goal to create these paintings using only splattered paint — no contact between the brush and the surface allowed!  Oil on wood.  Each piece is roughly 4′ x 4′.
